A special event as our instructors receive their 3rd Dan

We are thrilled to announce a very special event taking place on Saturday, March 8th. We will be welcoming Hanshi Gordon Lawson, 10th Dan, Head of the British Zen Judo Family Association (BZFJA) to our dojo.

As part of this special visit, Hanshi Lawson will present our dedicated instructors, Simon Keane and Alf Duddridge, with their well-earned 3rd Dan (Sandan) black belts. Their dedication, skill, and commitment to the club and its members have been outstanding, and we are incredibly proud of their achievement.

A unique training opportunity

During his visit, Hanshi Lawson will lead the judo session and share his vast knowledge and experience with our judoka. This is a rare opportunity to train under a 10th Dan and gain insight from a respected figure in the judo community.
