Todmorden Judo Club Summer Party
Earlier this month, judoka, parents, and families packed into the Main Hall for the Todmorden Judo Club Summer Party, and it was everything we hoped it would be. Great people, great food, and some very well-deserved recognition.
The highlight of the evening was the belt and certificate presentations, celebrating the progress our students have made over the year. Watching everyone receive their awards surrounded by family and clubmates is one of those moments that reminds you what judo is really about. The dedication these students show, week in and week out, deserves to be celebrated properly, and on the night it absolutely was.
The Jacob’s Join worked brilliantly too. The spread that everyone brought along was fantastic, and it gave the whole evening a real community feel. That generosity is typical of the people who make up this club.
Huge congratulations to everyone who received a belt or certificate. You’ve earned it. And thank you to every family member and supporter who came along on the night. Your presence means a great deal.
